Dec 31, 2009 Unwritten

So I have basically slacked out on my 2009 365 project and I feel really bad about it….well, probably not as bad as I should or I would have finished it. lol

But I’m sitting here thinking about beginning again and how much I am really ready for 2010!  I think the word for today is Unwritten because when I think about the new year, I hear the words to the song echoing through my head…..

I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten

I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that way  (Natasha Bedingfield ~Unwritten)

Unwritten

So I will start over again this year and hopefully I will make it a little farther into the year…….

I’m with you :). I only made it 55 days, but it was difficult to do without internet for a while and then I was just so bummed that I quit. Not this time. Happy New Year 🙂
