Jan 28~ Little Cowboys…

Still no power but it hasn’t been so bad.  I have a gas cook stove and we have wood heat so we are good.

My kids go out, get cold and wet, come back in, shed the clothes around the woodstove, warm up, then go back out.   My youngest has this old pair of boots that I hate.  They were given to him and are a little big and I would never let him wear them in public but he will not take them off when he is home…and he wore them out in the snow today for about 15 minutes.  He came in and set them by the stove and they have stayed there all day.

Now I HATE cold weather.  I barely stick my head out the door when it is like this so I was NOT going outside again for my POTD.  So I thought I would shamelessly display the hated boots instead. lol  (One of these days I will have the heart to make them disappear, but not today).

My youngest son now wears a pair of FAKE snake skin coyboy boots that I bought my oldest son for a quarter at a garage sale as he HAD TO HAVE them! They are now on boy #3. They look terrible but I think I’ll be sad when they are gone as my babies will all have worn them…
