Jan 3~Little Patriot

So far I am learning two things from this project:

1) inanimate objects are way easier to photograph, and

2) I am going to have to get more creative. lol

It’s always fun learning the story behind the photograph so here is the background on this one.  I purchased this awsomely cute little camo uniform with the intention of giving it to my son.  However; I then decided that he would quickly outgrow it and maybe even wear it out so instead I decided to add it to my arsenal.  I did let my son wear it a little and we took some pictures.  But, he didn’t have any boots that “went with” the uniform.

Fast forward 3 months or so and I am shopping around at my usual off the wall places when my husband picks up these boots.  He laughs as he tells me I will never get to keep them because my son will confiscate them immediately.  So, I had to buy other boots to appease him so I could have the boots to go with my uniform.

Now I am again using my potd as my campaign photo.  I will try something different tomorrow. lol

PS~ These are my own official dogtags from my very short stint in the National Guard.  :0)

Very nice shot. The photo tells a story in itself.

Great shot and the photo tells a story

  5. Tammey says:

I really like this. Artistic, creative, just enough detail to tell a story, yet leaves enough empty to make me want to see more! Great job.

Great story, great shot! I love it all!

  7. Pam says:

I love the photo and the story. Nice one!
